Now as I hit 1 year old I am laying eggs. I fly into the nest boxes and sit. I will be around for a long time and sometimes my people take me out to see a bunch of kids and they tell them the same story that I just told you.
Hi, my name is Uno. I am an Isa brown hen. I am turning a year old in April. I like to scratch around and hop all over the property. That is right I hop. When I was 2 months old I was in my shelter sleeping when suddenly a small hand grabbed my right leg. I yelled and squacked and the people came out and looked around for the racoon that had been causing quite the rucuss around here for the past week. Well in the morning they opened the door and all the meat chickens went out of there coop and then my sisters ran out to play. Then I stood up and hopped out it didnt take long for me to figure it out. The people couldnt believe it that my whole leg was gone and the wound was healed and closed no blood or anything. Around 5 months old the people took all us layers over and put us with the big chickens. They came over and tryed to peck at me and I pecked and hit them with my one foot. They dont bug me now.

Great story Allie. I hope that the raccoon hasn't returned or has been disposed of.
